This sad romantic movie is about a construction foreman(Chul soo played by Jung Woo-sung), who fell in love with the daughter(Su jin played by Son Ye-jin) of the boss of construction company he is in. Despite the differences in their socio-economic status, Chul soo and Su jin fought for their love and get married. Both of them showed to Su jin's parents how they love and care for each other. Chul soo pursued and become successful in his dream of becoming an architect. At this moment, everything seemed to be alright as Su jin's parents finally accepted Chul soo.
The twist happened when Su jin was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease which gradually caused her to lose her memory. Su jin got burdened that he will eventually forgot his husband. She hid her problem to her husband until he consulted to the doctor himself when he noticed changes to his wife's habits. Chul soo continued to stay and support with his wife during this stage, but the trials they face increased as Su jin's diease progressed and she consistently lost her memory.
Su jin decided to left their house and entered a hospital and without the consent and knowing of her husband. Chul soo visited her and asked her out to let her experience their first meeting in a convenience store. The story ended when they are riding together their car in the sunset and Chul soo says "I love you".
